Wake up and live

Let’s talk about beauty…..

To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.”

I am like a four leaf clover in the patch, while everyone else is trying to be the same I’m trying to be different!
I know that life can be hard I’ve been many things in my lifetime so far, a mom, a wife, a school teacher, a Firefighter, a mechanic, I’ve climbed rocks and went far back in caves repelling down into the earth! I’ve rode bikes, skateboards, and four wheelers. I’ve tilled gardens and cut grass on lawnmowers. I’ve trained in MMA and brizilian jujitsu, I was an wrestler. I am a Artist, a painter and so so much more……
I’m not done, I wanna do it all, learn it all. Everything that I have the opportunity to do, I’ll do it! Most importantly GOD! He is my right hand man!!!
Y’all will learn more as I proceed in this business process about me but for now, it’s time to rock out some furniture……,,
Thankful for the past, present and future!!

Have you ever felt like you had such a big purpose that you didn’t know what direction to go????
I definitely have, I’ve accomplished so much in my lifetime. At a young age I realized that my mind was different than most, I could perform and actively accomplish anything that I was interested in……….
My first passion I would have to say is probably ART! Even when I was young I wanted to look at the pictures and see the details that these wonderful artists accomplished. I didn’t care to much about the words, just the images! The colors, the difficulty that it took to make these pages!!!
Since I can remember I have always painted my walls, rearranged my furniture, and redecorated every week, sometimes daily. Why not take that knowledge I’ve learned throughout the years and share it with all the people?????
You deserve a home where you can live your extraordinary life to the fullest.
One that gets your family excited to spend more time together……

Let’s Choose something that makes YOU happy!!!! 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

Truth Talk:
Running your own business is hard. Damn hard.
Most of us are working another job, raising kids, facing emotional and financial struggles, pressure from all sides.
Running your own business can be amazing. It can be the highest of highs. When the pieces are selling and the phone is ringing and you are in demand. When the bills are being paid, and your booth is emptied out, and your store is non-stop. It’s not any easier, but it makes it worth it.
It can also be the lowest of lows. You don’t get to clock out at the end of the day and go home without a care. You don’t get to call in sick and stay in bed. You have to get up and do it every day. No matter what.
You have to be painter, supplier, marketer , accountant, mother, wife, daughter, father, husband, son, carpool driver, cleaner, buyer, merchandiser, stager, photographer, hauler, lifter, mover. COME ON!! It never ends.
Some days you wonder why – you think it would be easier to punch the clock.
But if you’ve ever had the highest of highs after the lowest of lows, you know it’s worth it. You know that you could never go back to punching the clock.
It’s just matter of picking yourself up and dusting yourself off and getting back out there. Maybe this week wasn’t your week. You had 10 lowball offers and nothing sold. But maybe it’s tomorrow. Maybe your customer is right around the corner and in two days, you’ll be scrambling for more inventory.
I’ve been there, and I get it, and if you don’t have the support you need where you are at, just come here and we will all get you back on track.
Value yourself, your work, and your time. Take a break now and then to recharge. Look up once in awhile and make sure you are still on the right path, and if you aren’t – figure out how to get back on it.
It’s hard work running your own business, but it’s worth it at the end of the day!
In 2016 right after my second son was born I decided that the time has come to finally work for myself. As we went though so much that year I decided to buy some furniture with the only $100 I had saved and see if I could just flip them…… Well that was working pretty well, but I didn’t feel satisfied, I needed more. (Not that having a New born at the time and a 11YO wasn’t enough) My mother in law brought a lady over who had a booth, and she wanted to buy some unpainted pieces for my prices and with no hassle. I decided to investigate what she did with them and saw that she was painting them and selling them for large profits more than I was making……. So I decided to give it a try, at first it wasn’t easy, I didn’t like it, I wanted to stop everyday. Then something happened and I started to love it…….. I was learning new techniques, meeting people in the same industry as me and getting a larger following. It became Boosted Treasures officially in 2017!
Every step of this process has been enjoyable and challenging……. I have had mistakes, and failures, repaints and everything under the sun. BUT Also I am always creating with new designs, styles and textures! I love to play with all kinds of products. Maybe sometimes I’ll only use them once but maybe I’ll love them, like Dixie Bell products…… No lie I used to be against chalk paint until I tried it, now that’s pretty much all I use unless I spray and them it’s strictly Sherwin Williams Flat paints…..
More coming soon………..
